Inspired Demo Tour at Terry Peak SD

Wednesday was a very interesting and unique tour stop for us for many reasons.  We woke up early wednesday morning to drive to Terry Peak from Chamberlain South Dakota, a 4 hour drive.  When we woke up Henrik was feeling more and more sick so and thought he could have strep throat so we decided he was going to go to the hospital and get checked out and the rest of the crew would go skiing.

We made it after a long drive expecting to pull into a small midwest style ski hill however the drive to it proved us more and more wrong around every corner we turned.  The hills were steep and surprisingly large. We pulled into the hill and we were stoked on how big and steep it was. We were greeted by some friendly locals who were stoked we had made it.  Henrik, even though he was sick still signed up some things for these guys who came up to the van. Then Kevin and Henrik took off to the hospital while the rest went skiing.

The day was great said everyone who was involved.  Everyone was mostly skiing all mountain laps finding fun trannys everywhere.  One run in particular got skid many times, the run was both groomer with fun things to pop off and use as landings as well as off trail area with wind drifts and crazy rock terrain from the gold mining days.

Everyone took a break and got some food at one point after the one park lap of the day.  Then back out to shred more top to bottom runs until the hill closed at 4.  During this whole time the hospital said that Henrik did have strep throat which is a bummer but he got some meds and has been feeling better ever since.

Once the mountain closed everyone got signed posters and a bunch of the local kids got Inspired South Dakota shirts.  Kids got lots of things signed and then at 4:15 the van pulled in with Henrik so a crew of kids came down to see how he was doing and were very kind asking if he could sign a few things.  Henrik was also kind and signed whatever they asked, even took some pictures with them.

This was a great way to end the tour! Fun skiing with a fun crew!  Tour stop #50 is now complete! Thanks to everyone at Terry Peak who came to ski with us as well as the friendly folks in Guest Services who helped us with getting tickets.  Next we jumped in the van for a 10 hour drive back to Park City!

Thanks Terry Peak!
